WHITNEY FITZSIMMONS – PRESENTER, BUSINESS TODAY ABC TV

Whitney Fitzsimmons is the anchor of Business Today, the ABC’s leading business and finance program, which is broadcast daily on ABC1, ABC News 24 and the ABC’s international channel, Australia Network with an audience of more than 40 million.
She has been a TV presenter at the ABC for the past six years, presenting programs both nationally and internationally. During this time she has presented ABC Asia Pacific News, Lateline Business (ABC1), The Midday Report (ABC1), Australia Wide (ABC2) and most recently Afternoon Live and The World (News 24).
She is featured in the current edition of Who’s Who of Australian Women.  She is the recipient of a 2009 Jefferson Fellowship from the East West Centre and a 2008 Asia Pacific Journalism Centre Fellowship. She is currently completing a Master in Arts: Journalism at the University of Technology, Sydney.

Pam Walkley - Editor in Chief of Money Magazine

Pam Walkley, the Editor in chief of Money magazine, is a widely experienced finance journalist. She started her working life at the Melbourne Age while studying for a commerce degree at Melbourne University.

Throughout her career Pam has specialised in business, investing and property, taking over as Editor of Australian Property News in 1984, at the same time as writing for BRW and Personal Investment magazines. In 1988 she moved to the Australian Financial Review as Property Editor and later become News Editor and Chief of Staff of the AFR, a position she held for about seven years.

In early 1999 she moved to Australian Consolidated Press to launch Money magazine, which quickly became Australia’s best read personal investment magazine.  Money, which has just undergone its second major revamp, was the winner in the business and current affairs category at the 2010 Australian Magazine Awards.

Bronwyn Pott – CEO, Swaab Attorneys

In 2010 Swaab Attorneys was awarded Australia’stop ranking law firm in BRW's Best Places to Work, and in the same year Bronwyn was also named Practice Manager of the Year in the Lawyers Weekly Icon Awards.

Bronwyn's practical, democratic management style and belief in respect as a key quality in the workplace have created an outstandingly positive workplace culture that has led to the firm consistently being recognised as a great place for employees.  Swabb Attorneys has also won numerous awards for client service, including most recently being named the winner in the 2011 BRW Client Choice Awards for Best Australian Law Firm (revenue less than $50 million).

Bronwyn was a founding member of the Australian Legal Practice Management Association and served as its national president for a number of years. In this role she was instrumental in establishing a nationally recognised qualification for law practice managers, as well as achieving broad recognition within the profession of the fact that law firms are more efficient, more profitable and happier workplaces if they are run by professional managers. Bronwyn began her career as an industrial chemist before studying commerce and completing a Masters of Business Administration in 2003.

Brian Russell – CEO, The Brooklyn Group

Brian Russell is the CEO and founding partner of executive recruitment agency The Brooklyn Group.  Their specialty Industry Divisions includes Accounting and Finance, Banking and Financial Services, Engineering, Construction, Electronics and Office Equipment. Brian’s primary specialisation lies in media, consulting to News Limited, Fairfax, Text Media, ACP and Pacific Magazines for over 20 years.  Brian was the co-founder of senior recruitment agency Dunhill Management.
